Meeting cancelled. Will be rescheduled.

The Climate Crisis is a multi-generational issue. Our NorthShoreVillage Network generation and those before us bear a lot of responsibility for letting it get out of hand.

Now we -- and especially the younger generation – are finally trying to speed things up, to avert the worst trajectory and to address climate justice and equity issues.

Our Climate Issues and Action group has invited representatives of E-Town Sunrise, a Youth Advocacy Group active at Evanston Township High School, to join us for this program.

The program will begin with one of the E-Town Sunrise members, Emmet Ebels-Duggan, sharing his experience at COP 27, the 2022 UN Climate Summit. Emmet and other members of the E-Town Sunrise group will then tell us what they have been doing to address the climate crisis and will suggest how we can support them in their efforts.
